Bronte, First sunrise of the year, 14th Jan 2023.

Got to a wet and rainy Bronte along with 300 odd runners (part of the 440 club), had to park a few roads back and walk down, but got a couple keepers! Also inspired by the run club… Maybe this year I’ll get fitter. Was a good morning with the Focus Australia crew.

Was pretty cool as we were leaving to be treated to a cellist on the rocks getting some photos taken. Got a couple cool shots of her. I thought the scene of the 2 older ladies helping each other into the water with the cellist playing to the scene was magic. After the organised shoot, I made my way to Waverley Cemetery. Saw where Henry Lawson is laid to rest. There are some headstones that pull at the heartstrings. And some make you wonder what life was like all those years ago..
