Sunrise at Austinmer Beach

Had my first outing with the Focus Australia group for a sunrise shoot at Austinmer Beach about an hour south of Sydney. a mostly cloudless morning meant there wasn’t much colour, but there was a period of around 5 minutes of fire along the bottom edge of the thin cloud on the horizon making for a few nice shots. My new Wishlist item is for a Nisi filter kit… hope to get one soon. I am enjoying the early mornings (on occasion) and meeting other photographers, but without the filters it is a challenge to get a good shot. But we still persist. Its all about learning and growth!
